Collaborating to Create Community: CPRS VIP Mission Areas, volunteerism, partnering and collaborations (getting started, sustainability, evaluation, completion), unique opportunities, role of non-profits

Leadership Development: a focus of the CPRS Board of Directors as an ends policy, focus on personal assessment, personal and professional skills for success, staff development, strategic thinking, mentoring, coaching, lifelong learning for self and as an organizational commitment, commissioner development

Pulse Sessions: strategic issues facing the profession; society/societal change, diversification of communities, how to serve new constituents, staff recruitment and retention, team building, needs assessment, trends affecting the profession, students of the new millennium, CPRS Special Interest Sections issues critical to special areas of expertise, succession management planning, funding
