To" Ads and Posters
Easy
to use ads and posters to help promote the value of your parks
and recreation
agency.
CPRS
recognizes the importance of effective communications to your
policy makers and constituents. We also recognized two critical
issues: (1) not all agencies have the resources to develop public
relations messages and (2) that the delivery of consistent messages
across the state will enhance visibility of parks and recreation – and
your agency.
To
assist you, CPRS developed three powerful messages after extensive
stakeholder interviews and a print media audit.
Our overarching
message of “Space to...” resonated well with our
stakeholders and the media. It also translates well into Spanish.
When “Space
to...” is coupled with either “create and imagine;
be safe and secure; or learn and play,” we have messages
that promote the benefits of parks and recreation.
Each
ad and poster is an Adobe Acrobat Reader pdf and camera ready.
The ads
measure 5 5/16” x 3 3/8” but can be easily
changed to fit most activity guide or news formats by adding
a black background to the top and left sides. The current size
of
the posters is 21” x 34” but it can be easily adapted
to fit 11” x 17” or other sizes.
We
encourage you to insert these ads in your activity guides, newspapers,
policy maker reports, or annual reports. Use the
posters in your
community centers, swimming pools, senior or teen centers,
and other government or stakeholder locations.
CDs
were mailed to all park and recreation agencies in October 2005.
