  • Join Us this THURSDAY 10/23 for a Fun Day of Service!!

D1 FRIENDS!! Step away from your computer this Thursday morning for a work day and some old-fashioned and feel-good community service.

District 1 is partnering with the City of Napa by working together to renovate a part of Kennedy Park in our third ever CPRS D1 Day of Service!  Come join in on the fun as we paint and prepare the infields.  This is a great way to network with colleagues, while pouring love into one of our very own parks.   All supplies will be provided along with coffee, pastries, and lunch.

When: 9:30am-12:30pm on Thursday, October 24th

Where: Kennedy Park Field #1 - 2295 Streblow Drive, Napa, CA 94559 (This is the first baseball field that you see as you pass the Golf Course and Duck Pond)

What: There are two major projects to help with our "Fall of Field Renovations". 1.) Painting of backstops and score booth. 2.) Spreading new cinder and topsoil to the infield and warning track areas.

Light bites for breakfast and coffee will be available, as will water. Lunch will be provided at the end of the project. More information will come via a flyer, and we will get it out on our socials. Please save the date and also share with your fellow department folks. We are hoping to have as many people as possible to represent the Mighty 1.

Please RSVP to Dan Opperman at dopperman@cityofnapa.org
