    Volunteer Project
    February 5, 4pm-6pm, Oak Hill Park Community Center, 3005 Stone Valley Road, Danville
    D3 Gives Back! Join us on Wednesday, February 5, to make no-sew blankets for the victims of the wildfires in Southern California. We have football- and Taylor Swift-themed fleece that was donated at Fall Institute, but please consider bringing LA-themed fleece or whatever theme you would like! Most blankets use at least a yard of a printed fabric and a yard of a solid color fabric.

  • Deadline for Award Applications extended through 1/27, 12pm.

    The deadline for applications for the 2024 CPRS Awards has been extended to Monday, January 27th at 12 pm. This is an excellent opportunity to recognize excellence in parks, recreation, and community services within District 3!

    We encourage all qualifying individuals, teams, and organizations to showcase their outstanding achievements and contributions by submitting an application. Whether you’ve launched a transformative program, completed an innovative project, or demonstrated exceptional leadership, now is the time to shine!

    All award recipients will be honored at the annual Awards & Installation Banquet, which will also install new leadership to the District 3 Board, and thank our fearless leader Jessica Wallner and other outgoing board members for their service to us!

    Application Details:

    The application for the 2024-2025 D3 Professional Grant is now open! If you need funding to support professional training, CPRS membership, or research projects, be sure to apply.     2024-2025 D3 Student Scholarship
    The 2024-2025 D3 Student Scholarship application is now open! Scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a career in the parks, recreation, community services or related fields. Candidates must be residents of District 3 (Alameda & Contra Costa Counties), attending a college in District 3, or work for an organization in District 3. Candidates must currently be enrolled at an accredited university at the upper division or graduate level.
