CPRS conference sessions address the mission areas, core values and competency levels of government service delivery providers. Listed below are four activities at conference that will address the future for community-based park & recreation departments.

  • Speed Coaching Plus using seasoned government staff during a mentoring session on Wednesday 3:00-4:30pm
  • X-treme Professionalism: Leaders for 2020 and Beyond – designed for Administrators, middle-managers & support staff, part-time staff -- a discussion about sustaining the community-based professional—Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm
  • Short talk at the Administrators Meeting on Thursday morning 7:30am-9:00am about the skill sets of the government employee, sustaining the profession and where we should be headed
  • Leadership Workshop titled Looking Ahead:  2020 Leadership on Friday afternoon, 12:00-4:00pm where we will engage our members in a discussion about what the leader of tomorrow will need.
