Session Learning Outcomes:

  • Discuss the importance of social engagement among the senior population and the role senior services plays in enhancing the lives of seniors
  • Develop a Senior Speed Dating event (including tool kit), and/or incorporate compassionate practices in developing senior programming
  • Articulate a new perspective on the personal role as a senior services professional and reignite a passion for working with seniors
  • Explain one major goal from the documentary titled The Age of Love that screens the film for intergenerational audiences
