Professionals holding certificates from the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification, National Council for Therapeutic Recreation or National Recreation and Park Association can attend a variety of sessions that will assist in maintaining certification. CEU sessions are available in every educational session time slot. Tuesday Intensives, Wednesday-Friday & the Teen Academy CEU sessions offer 0.1 - 0.3 for each qualifying session you attend.
Note: You must have the room host sign your CEU form for each session you attend. This form must be submitted before you leave the conference.
CEU Counter Hours
The CEU Counter is part of the Registration Area located in the Long Beach Convention Center. Hours are:
Wednesday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday Intensives, Wednesday - Friday Educational Sessions, Teen Leadership Academy
Are all educational sessions granted CEUs?
Be sure to stop by the CEU counter in the Registration Area for a list of educational sessions not qualifying for CEUs. This list will be ready for pick up during registration hours throughout the conference. Sessions not qualifying for CEUs are marked with “no CEUs.”
How many CEUs can I receive?
You can earn up to 1.825 CEUs attending Wednesday-Friday educational sessions or more by attending Intensives. New CEU features this year are the Youth Advisors Workshop on Wednesday and the Teen Leadership Academy on Friday.
How many CEU sessions must I attend to participate?
You must attend a minimum of three hours during Tuesday Intensives, Wednesday-Friday educational sessions or the Teen Leadership Academy to qualify. Register for CEUs using the registration form prior to conference, or onsite in the Registration Area at the Convention Center. Return the CEU form before leaving the conference to have your CEUs recorded properly. Session titles, dates and times are subject to change. Please verify all session information in the onsite program and CEU counter when you arrive at the Long Beach Convention Center.
