Every playground incident can't be prevented, but agencies can demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing foreseeable hazards. CPSI-trained staff can help establish consistent inspection, documentation, maintenance and risk-reduction practices while supporting safer places for children to play.

Your maintenance team sees your playgrounds more often than anyone else. Give them the knowledge to know what they're looking at. CPSI training helps professionals recognize playground hazards, understand applicable standards and guidelines, prioritize concerns and make better-informed maintenance and development decisions.

Sign up your team to attend the Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) course and exam taking place in Windsor, CA, October 13 – 15, 2026, by September 15th!

Don't miss out – this will be the last Northern California CPSI session until March 2027.

This two-day training offers a total of 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for the CPSI, CPRP and CPRE certifications.  Those who take and pass the exam on the third day attain the CPSI certification which is valid for three years.  Share the attached flyer with your team!

Thank you to the Town of Windsor, the California Intergovernmental Risk Authority (CIRA), and the Redwood Empire Schools' Insurance Group (RESIG) for serving as our hosts of this CPSI session!

The Town of Windsor is located north of the greater bay area along US Highway 101.  The Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport (STS) is only 5 miles from downtown Windsor with the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) being the next best option about 110 miles away (with a beautiful scenic drive).
