At conference this past March, I heard that a few agencies have starting offering recruitment incentives in an attempt to get more applicants to apply for their open part-time positions. If you are one of those agencies, would you mind providing answers to the following questions:
- What incentives are you offering?
- Are the incentives only for the applicants or do you have incentives for current staff to encourage them to refer people to apply?
- If you have referral incentives for current staff, what do you offer?
- Since you began offering incentives, what has been the result?
- Did you have any challenges convincing HR or Finance to allow you to offer recruitment incentives?
- If yes to #4, what were the challenges and how did you resolve them?
