    Hello fellow recreation enthusiasts!

The City of Murrieta has what I hope are some very simple yes/no questions for you.

For your Recreation Class Instructors, do you require the following:

    1. An agreement between the instructor and your agency?
    2. That the instructor obtain a business license?
    3. That the instructor obtain their own insurance?
      • If yes, what are your limits?
      • If no, does your agency obtain supplemental or secondary insurance to cover instructor liability concerns such as through SCMAF or HUB? OR
      • If no, does your agency cover the instructor liability concerns with the agency's "regular" coverage?
    4. That the instructor have a background check if teaching children?
    5. That the instructor have first aid/CPR/AED training?

Except for the insurance limit question, yes/no answers will work.

Thank you all so much for your assistance on this little survey.

For your Recreation Class Instructors, do you require the following:

    1. An agreement between the instructor and your agency? YES
    2. That the instructor obtain a business license? YES
    3. That the instructor obtain their own insurance? YES and NO. Liability insurance is recommended for all instructors; however, it is only required if the class is taught by a business, an organization, or if the class is conducted at a private location. The City requires a certificate of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 naming the City of Corona as an additional insured.
YES, but we require all instructors to go through background check with children and adults.
    5. That the instructor have first aid/CPR/AED training? YES
