Is anyone planning on having an in-person Easter Egg Hunt this year with Covid-19 restrictions lifting? Are any cities planning on doing a drive-thru event or not having the event at all?
    thank you!

Yes, we are planning for an in-person Easter event in Chino Hills. We planned for an in-person event early on with the anticipation that cases would drop and restrictions would lift. Had this not been the case, we would have transitioned the event to a drive-thru format. If you have any questions do not hesitate to reach out.

Apple Valley is offering an "Egg Drop" this year. Families reserved free appointments and staff is driving around and hiding eggs on front yards. It "sold" out quickly. We haven't started it yet.

    Good Morning,
We are doing a Kids Easter Egg Hunt at various parks.  Staff/volunteers will hide eggs and families are welcome to come out and "hunt."  We've eliminated candy and have done some small toys and included various activity tickets.  Some local businesses also filled eggs that will be hidden throughout the various parks and a local non-profit included tickets for larger baskets, backpacks with goodies, etc. to be collected at the District Office by those that find claim tickets inside.

The City of Redlands will be doing a "Bunny Hop" this year, where the Easter Bunny and two of his "egg-sistants" will be visiting Redlands residents to deliver and hide eggs in the resident's front yard.  Residents can register to have the eggs delivered and hidden on a  date that is pre-determined by Recreation Division staff.  The Easter Bunny will make an estimated 10-minute visit between 2 and 6 p.m. between March 29 and April 1. Registered participants will receive a confirmation e-mail after March 23 that will include the date and time frame for the visit. City staff and the bunny will follow all current state recommended social distancing guidelines. Unfortunately due to the current pandemic, photos cannot be taken in person with the bunny.
