  • 1.  Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program

    Good Morning,

    I wanted to see if any agencies are using or adopting a hidden disabilities program such as Sunflowers Matter. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple tool for you to voluntarily share that you have a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent – and that you may need a helping hand, understanding, or more time in shops, at work, on transport, or in public spaces.     A community member approached us about a program that I was previously unaware of. During a recent trip, I noticed a sign about the program at the San Jose Airport and at my hotel. I'm looking to see if anyone in our area is involved in the program, as I would love to chat about it.

    Good morning. I have not heard of this, but I love it.  I will certainly look into this to potentially propose to our agency.
