REC U: Budgeting 101

Rec University is back and better than ever! Join Cal State East Bay faculty along with
regional professional’s quality continued education in topics that matter to our
profession. Rec University is co-sponsored by Cal State East Bay Department of
Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism and CPRS District III.

Budgeting is a “must have” skill for any Park and Recreation professional. In this course,
you will learn how to build a quality program budget and how the budget ties into the
organization’s mission. We’ll also explore and identify the process of accountability and
how the budget can identify potential program problems.

This class is useful for newer professionals as well as those recently beginning to work
with program budget development. Expect to learn something new and different as well
as have some fun.

Registration will be required and space is limited. $45 for CPRS Members and $55 for Non-Members.
