  • Call for Nominations! D6 Annual Awards and Volunteer Recognition Dinner

    Hello D6 Members!

    The California Park and Recreation Society (CPRS) District 6 Awards and Volunteer Recognition Dinner will be held on May 3, 2023 at the Civic Plaza Community Room in Watsonville, CA from 5:00- 8:00 pm.

    At this special event, CPRS honors outstanding individuals for their professional and volunteer contributions to the fields of parks, recreation and human services.

    This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize programs, staff and volunteers in your community for their efforts and dedication to Parks and Recreation.

    Please refer to the attached nomination packet for more information.

    Please submit award materials with necessary payment by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2023; award applications will not be accepted after this date. 

    We look forward to celebrating with you on May 3!

  • CPRS D6 Awards Banquet, May 3

    District 6 will be hosting its annual Awards Banquet to celebrate the "Ocean of Good" provided by outstanding staff, volunteers, and community partners in 2022 on Tuesday, May 3rd, from 5 - 8pm, at the Watsonville Community Room.

    Hello D6! It's not too late to join us for our General Membership Meeting! Please join us for a Holiday Gathering and General Membership Meeting in Santa Cruz on Thursday, December 1. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about the benefits of a CPRS membership while networking with P & R professionals, participating in beneficial discussion groups and kicking off the holiday season!

    We've got a full taco bar, games, competitions and we are hosting a raffle where you can win a FREE CPRS Membership!
