Dear Parks and Recreation Professional,
We are conducting a wage survey for part-time employees working for California's public parks and recreation organizations. The data provided will be used to:
- Develop a database of California public park and recreation part-time employee wages
- Identify hiring challenges, use of incentives in hiring, and wage increases over the past two years
- Explore the impact of city financial health, community demographics, and geography on wages
The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete if employee wage data is accessible when the survey is taken. The part-time employee wages database and additional survey results will be available to all who provide data. Anyone within the organization may complete the survey; please forward it to the appropriate person.
