    We are happy to share that D-5 is offering two scholarships for enrollment in California Aquatic Management School (CAMS) this year. CAMS is an Aquatic conference where speakers from all over the United States are invited to share their knowledge and trends in aquatics, as well as these events are excellent for networking and gaining knowledge. D-5 is offering two scholarships for reimbursement of up to $325 to enroll in the CAMS conference this year. We are trying to push this scholarship quickly and the deadline to apply is 8/16/23. Please read the scholarship criteria, application, and submission process and send your two-page typed answers to the questions to me by the deadline. The general information is in the attached application form, but if you have any more questions please contact Kevin DeFranco at kdefranco@ci.patterson.ca.us.

    Please let your Coordinators and Pool Managers know about this opportunity. CAMS will be held in Burlingame this year November 7th - 9th. Below is the Basic Schedule:

    Tuesday, November 7

    9:00am - Check-in at Burlingame Community Center
    10:00am - Aquatic Facility Charted Bus Tour, lunch provided
    5:00pm - Return to Burlingame Community Center

    Wednesday, November 8

    8:00am - Check-in at Burlingame Community Center
    9:00am - Keynote and Education Sessions
    12:30pm - Lunch and networking
    1:30pm - Education Sessions
    5:00pm - Dinner on your own
    8:00pm - Networking Reception

    Thursday, November 9

    8:00am - Check-in at Burlingame Community Center, continental breakfast provided
    9:00am - Education Sessions
    12:30pm - Lunch and networking
    1:30pm - Closing Keynote
