Good afternoon D5,
The location of our departments two most valuable buildings (a Community Center and a Recreation Center) fall within the planned route of California High Speed Rail (Merced to Madera stretch). In anticipation of losing these facilities through eminent domain to the State project, we are looking for avenues of funding that other cities or districts may have used to build community and/or recreation centers in recent years.
If anyone is willing to share their experience with funding such a project, I would greatly appreciate it.
