The City of Norco is interested in learning if other cities have ever dealt with the Department of Interior regarding land that was conveyed by the Feds to the City (Federal Lands to Parks Program) for the use as a public recreational purpose (park), however, the QuitClaim included deed restrictions.
Has anyone revitalized a site/park like this and introduced limited, strictly controlled commercial components through Concessionaire Agreement with a third party (restaurant, hotel, etc) that would support the operations and maintenance of the park as well as serve a public purpose (meeting rooms, public library, outdoor fairs, art exhibits, etc)?
Any info you can share would greatly be appreciated! 😊 If you have a Concession Agreement in place, can you please share that as well?
Thank you in advance!
