Hello CPRS Family!
As we approach Juneteenth, our agency is exploring ways to enhance our community's celebration of this important holiday. Our city has recognized Juneteenth in recent years through events such as concerts, and this year we are looking to expand or enhance our program offerings.
To help with our planning, I'm reaching out to learn how other cities are commemorating Juneteenth. Specifically, we are interested in:
- Whether your city is hosting or sponsoring Juneteenth events;
- The types of programs, activities, or partnerships being implemented;
- Any lessons learned or best practices you'd be willing to share.
If you or someone on your team can provide any information, flyers, or examples, it would be greatly appreciated. We're aiming to create a thoughtful and inclusive celebration, and your insights will help guide our approach.
