    Dear CPRS Member,

I hope this message finds you well.

We're reaching out to gather some information regarding your organization's facilities and policies. Specifically, we would appreciate your insights on the following:

    1. Does your organization permit the use of fireworks at any of your parks?
    2. Does your organization operate a futsal/basketball sport court? If so, have you experienced any challenges with both sports sharing the same court?

    Photo Attached.

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

    Best regards,

    Nicole Lowery

    Hi Nicole,

Based upon our 65 Park and Rec Districts, I can answer based upon what comes across my desk and what I hear when visiting districts.

Does your organization permit the use of fireworks at any of your parks?

Some districts allow fireworks but usually there is an organization that rents the park facility and hires pyrotechnics. There are only certain parks because of size and whatso.

Does your organization operate a futsal/basketball sport court? If so, have you experienced any challenges with both sports sharing the same court?

I have only seen one district that installed futsal on a basketball court to share. So far there has not been challenges pertaining to sharing.

    Sincerely,
