  • 1.  Resident and Non-Resident Fee %

    Hello all!

    Looking for some quick response on what percentage agencies are utilizing for a Non-Resident fee for certain program registrations.  Specific for Swim Lessons, Classes, Summer Camps, etc.   The City of San Luis Obispo is in the midst of a city-wide Fee Study and I need some verification benchmarks by Tuesday, December 19th if possible.   Are agencies averaging a standard percentage or do you have some specific programs that utilize different percentages?  Example:  15%, 20%, 25% additional for Non-Resident registrations.

    Good morning

    Conejo Recreation & Park District does not have added fees to out-of-district patrons for our programs.  We do have them wait one week during registration periods, so our community can register first.  

    For permits, we do however apply fees of 50% more.  Attached are the pool fees.

    The Lake Casitas Recreation Area does not have added fees for non-residents, or non-county residents. We do however offer Senior discounts for permits.

    Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, a special district in Simi Valley, does not have different fees for non-residents for programs or activities. We do have a 25% additional fee for non-resident rentals, but only on the base price of the facility (not staffing processing fees, additional fees). We also offer 25% non-profit discount on base pricing of rentals.
