    Hi Neighbors!

If your city does a Holiday Craft fair type of event, can you please share your vendor requirements? Specifically interested if you require a business license? Holiday planning in full effect :)  Hope everyone is having a great Summer!

We are not a city  - but a community the size of a small town (4000 people).  We have an annual Holiday Faire.  The vendors are pre-screened.  The items to be sold are juried to make sure they are appropriate for the event.  All items must be hand crafted and not mass produced.

If the vendor has a business, we ask for liability insurance and named as an additional insured.  If the vendor does not have insurance, then they sign a liability release.  There are specified display regulations that comply with fire codes and standard safety practices.

They pay a commission on all sales.  Hope this is helpful
