CPRS District 1:
Many updates to share this month!
Firstly, a special thanks to Alana Behn for a fantastic Bowling for Parks program, Strike Night event, and all her efforts supporting CPRS Region 1 (Districts 1, 2, and 3) in our Fall Forum professional training event. Being a rockstar is not without its tradeoffs. Alana informed the D1 Board at our November meeting that she had to respectfully take a step back from her role on the Board due to her recent appointment as the Interim Recreation Manager with the City of American Canyon. We are incredibly grateful for all the hard work and energy Alana brought to the Board and understand this was a tough decision. Still, we are excited for her as she develops her career in new and exciting ways. We are proud of you, Alana! While Alana focuses on her team in American Canyon, we must press on to focus on the future of our team, which brings us to ELECTIONS!
I proudly announce that Rachel Beer was appointed President-Elect, and the Vice President position will remain vacant for now.
