Community Improvement Service Project - Applications Open May 1st!

District 2 established the Doing Good 2Gether annual service project last year, as an opportunity to give back to an organization or agency within District 2 boundaries that is in need of support to complete a community improvement project. D2 will provide an agency with the people power needed to help complete the project. The D2 board and members will be invited to sign up to help bring the necessary number of volunteers needed to complete the selected project. This is a great opportunity for D2 members and the board, to give back and connect with each other, while working together to "do good" within our District. 

Applications will open on May 1st. Agencies who wish to submit a service project for consideration are encouraged to apply starting May 1st! The deadline for applications is June 30th by 5PM. PLEASE NOTE: The project date (day of service) must occur between September 1, 2024 - February 28, 2025.

To Apply:

1. Download and read through the PROJECT GUIDELINES to make sure your project meets the necessary requirements and will qualify for consideration.
2. Fill out the online application form  - available May 1st.
3. Questions can be directed to Kate Miller at kmiller@southgaterecandpark.net.

The winning agency will be notified no later than August 16th, 2024 by 5PM of their selection.

The event includes the presentation of District 2 Awards, Scholarships and Grants, the installation of the 2024/25 Board of Directors, a recap of the year and dinner! Registration is only $40 for CPRS members, $120 Group of 4, $45 for nonmembers and Students/Guests pay only $25.  The banquet honors agencies and leaders in our District and brings us together to recognize all the great work you do to make life better in District 2. Join us to celebrate YOU and all you did to make 2023 awesome!
