  • D2 Announces NEW Opportunity for Members - Doing Good 2Gether Applications Open!

District 2 is excited to announce its newest project – D2 Doing Good 2Gether! This program was established as an opportunity to give back to an organization or agency within District 2 boundaries that needs support to complete a community improvement project. D2 will provide an agency with the people power, YOU provide the project! The D2 board and members will be invited to sign up to help bring the necessary number of volunteers needed to complete the selected project. This is a great opportunity for D2 members and the board, to give back and connect with each other, while working together to "do good" within our District.

Do you have a project in need of support? Applications are now OPEN! The deadline to submit your project is July 15, 2023. For more information on qualifying projects, project guidelines or to submit your project, please visit us HERE. If you have questions about the Doing Good 2Gether program, please feel free to contact D2 President, Ashika Lal directly. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity from D2!

  • City of Sacramento hosts Greenworks Demo Event!

The City of Sacramento is hosting a Greenworks Demo event on June 13 from 10AM - 2PM in William Land Park and YOU are invited to attend! Greenworks will be demonstrating their commercial battery products including blowers, riding mowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and more! With January 2024 and the end of nearly all gasoline-powered outdoor power equipment upon us this is a great opportunity to learn more about battery powered equipment that Greenworks offers. This event is FREE. For questions or to RSVP, contact Joey Zaokopny, Park Maintenance Superintendent, City of Sacramento.
