Vision Statement
The CPRS Development and Operation Section is the premier California professional organization that provides and promotes professional development related to the planning, design, construction, safety and management of parks, open spaces, trails and recreation facilities; provides leadership to advance sustainable park development, operations and best practices; and, supports education, training and networking opportunities to prepare individuals to function effectively within local, regional and state government.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Development and Operations Section is to create opportunities that educate, inform and inspire the professionals who develop and maintain public park, recreational, natural, cultural and historical resources in the State of California.
