As a Recreation Supervisor for Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District in Simi Valley, Danielle June directly supervises two full-time Administrative Assistants, as well as four full-time Recreation Coordinators who program in the area of Aquatics, Before and After School Clubs, Summer Day Camps, Classes, Facility Rentals, Teens, Senior Programs and Special Events. In addition, Danielle oversees the District’s marketing efforts and Music in the Park series. She has been employed in recreation for 20 years, holds a Masters Degree, and two Bachelor Degrees. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys traveling with her husband and two children, age 7 and 10.
Leadership with CPRS: Danielle June has been a part of CPRS leadership for over 7 years, serving in District 8’s Presidential Series, in addition to holding positions of Newsletter, Legislative Representative, Recreation Supervisor Representative, Administrator Section Representative, and currently Secretary. Danielle, with the District 8 Board, has coordinated many events including the annual Fall Forum, Socials for CPRS’s Annual Conference, Brochure Exchanges, Seminars/Workshops, and Social Gatherings. Danielle has also served on several committees within District 8 including membership, recruitment and event planning.
