"Another Day in Paradise!"
Born in Lakewood, CA, and raised in Cerritos, CA, I began my passion for serving the community in Fall 2003 with the City of Cerritos at the Cerritos Senior Center. After falling in love with the public sector and local government, I gave up on my dream of owning a Bar & Nightclub in L.A. and focused on serving the community I loved. The City of Cerritos was the foundation for my upcoming successes.
After meeting my future wife on a trip to Tulare, CA, we married in July 2008. One month later, I was fortunate to be hired as a Leisure Coordinator with the City of Porterville. The culture shock was real! I continued to serve the community of Porterville for five (5) incredible years until I was hired as the Recreation Supervisor for the City of Hanford. I spent ten (10) transforming years in Hanford and gave the Community of Hanford all I had to offer. In April 2023, the City of Lindsay trusted in me and hired me as their new Director of Recreation. In 2025, the City Manager reclassified my position to Director of Parks and Recreation with a new reorganization, Parks and Recreation Department.
Twenty-three (23) Years later, I still work in the public sector. I have a supportive wife, two (2) kids, and a couple of pets, and I continue to serve the community.
