  • COVID 19 Updates & Event Cancellations

    Good afternoon CPRS District 10 members,

    In conjunction with Governor Newsom’s updated guidelines regarding actions across all communities throughout California to limit the spread of COVID-19, the upcoming Awards and Installation Banquet on Thursday, March 26 has been cancelled. Credit card payments were not processed, paperwork will be shredded, and checks will be voided and returned. We will work to devise a way to install the incoming 20/21 Board of Directors over the coming weeks. Our outgoing and incoming boards are committed to honoring our 2020 sponsors, award winners, scholarship recipients and volunteers. We will find creative ways to do so throughout the year as life gets back to normal.

    We are also canceling the Mentoring Wrap-Up Lunch that was scheduled for this Wednesday, March 18. At this time, there have been no changes or cancellations made to the following scheduled activities:

    • Rec Leader Training Consortium Saturday, May 2
    • Total Guard Training Saturday, June 6

    Lastly, the D10 Leadership is committed to our responsibilities entering the 20/21 year so we can continue to serve our members and the profession, in standard District 10 fashion. All the best to you and yours during this time.
