The 2017 CPRS District 12 Awards and Installation Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 22, at the Encinitas Community Center, 9:00-11:30 am. The event provides an opportunity to network with colleagues throughout the county, and to honor park and recreation professionals, valued volunteers, and students who receive annual District 12 scholarships.
Agencies that are receiving a CPRS state awards of excellence and achievement will also be recognized at the Awards and Installation Breakfast. This year's event will recognize winners in the following categories:
Professional Merit Award - Our highest award will be given to an employee in the park and recreation profession who is a member of CPRS.

http://www.cprs.org/e/sx/eid=73Achievement Award - Given to an agency for outstanding and innovative achievement in development and implementation of a project. Awards will be given in the following three (3) categories: Recreation Program, Recreation Event, and Recreation Facility or Park Design.
