District 4 is collaborating with Districts 5 and 6, and will be hosting the Region 2 Mini Conference on Thursday November 8th in Morgan Hill.
The Mini Conference will focus on educational opportunities designed to develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of parks and recreation professionals in Region 2. Focus areas will include Park Maintenance, Facility Management, Economic/Resource Development, Marketing, and a variety of topics for programmers of all specialties.
We are currently seeking motivated speakers to present a 50 minute session on topics related to the profession. One of best aspects of the Mini Conference, similar to the previously titled Bay Area Institute, is that the sessions are presented by our very own professionals. This arena has always been a good trial run for staff looking to present at the CPRS conference, as well as seasoned presenters sharing valuable knowledge in a more intimate setting.
