Dear Supervisor Section Members:
Don't forget to submit your nomination to serve on the 2017-2018 Supervisor Section Board of Directors. The current positions available are:
Vice President - 3 year term (Vice President to President to Past President) – Shall represent the Recreation Supervisor Section whenever necessary. Duties include: performing all duties of the President in the President’s absence; assisting with programming and events that meet the objectives of the section; serving as a liaison to the Board of Directors on the development of the special events – including chairing Super MiniCal; attending CPRS Section/District Leadership Summit and meetings; and finally attend conference as a leader in CPRS.
Region 2 Representative (District 4, 5, 6) – 2 year term – Provide necessary information sharing and serve as the liaison between their region, districts, and the Recreation Supervisor Section Board of Directors, which will allow for a smooth flow of information. Duties include: attending board meetings; maintaining and encouraging participation in trainings offered; assist in the development of conference trainings, sessions, booth, social; attend conference as a leader in CPRS, and finally working to provide all incoming district representatives with orientation information and a copy of the “Resource Manual”.
Region 4 Representative (District 11, 13, 14) – 2 year term – Provide necessary information sharing and serve as the liaison between their region, districts, and the Recreation Supervisor Section Board of Directors, which will allow for a smooth flow of information. Duties include: attending board meetings; maintaining and encouraging participation in trainings offered; assist in the development of conference trainings, sessions, booth, social; attend conference as a leader in CPRS, and finally working to provide all incoming district representatives with orientation information and a copy of the “Resource Manual”.
Secretary – 2 year term – Shall be the official keeper of all Board of Directors meeting by accurately taking notes and documenting motions taken during meetings. Will then prepare written minutes to be distributed to the Board of Directors for Approval. In addition, this position’s duties include: posting all official minutes to the CPRS Recreation Supervisor’s webpage, work to correspond with all members via email blasts, social media, and make edits/additions to welcome packets; attend conference as a leader in CPRS, and finally work to represent our section through the State as needed.
