The CPRS Aquatics Section Board nomination process for the 2019 election has begun. We are looking for committed aquatic professionals to serve.
As a CPRS member, please consider this opportunity to get involved and provide essential leadership to advance the profession. Individuals at all levels of employment are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague.
Time commitment for Board service can vary. Meetings are scheduled monthly and held mid-morning and approximately 2 hours. The Board applies a teamwork & work by committee approach to all its services. While each Board position has specific tasks, members of the group come together to provide support to one another to enable each member’s success and positive experience on the Board.
The only requirement to serve on the Board is that the nominee must be an “active member” at the time of nomination, living or working within the region. There are three ways to submit an individual’s name to the Nomination Committee:
1. Members may nominate themselves;
2. With member’s consent, another Aquatics section member may submit a candidate’s name for nomination;
3. With member’s consent, the Nomination Committee may submit a candidate’s name for nomination.
Nomination form, candidate statement, and photo MUST be received no later than Monday, January 7, 2018. (Voting begins February 16, 2019)

Board positions available for nominations/election are:
- Vice President (3 year term; 2019 - 2022) Automatic advancement to President-elect & President
-Treasurer (2 year term; 2019 - 2021)
- Region Representatives (2 year term; 2019 – 2021) Candidate must live or work in one of the Districts within the Region.
- Region 2: Districts 4, 5 and 6
- Region 4: Districts 11, 13 and 14
