  • Cost recovery policies, procedures and calculations oh my

    Hello District 1!

    Reaching out to see if anyone would be willing to share some details related to your cost recovery policies, procedures and calculations………

     Questions:

    1. Does your department use a cost recovery worksheet, template or formula? (can you share it with us)
    2. Does this worksheet and/or formula include any additional calculations for “indirect” costs associated with programming such as full-time staff, lights, power, janitorial, Admin.overhead, deferred maintenance, etc?
    3. Does you agency have policy in place that determines the “rates” and/or “percentage” of cost recovery as determined by program need and group being served (i.e. Pyramid Methodology or similar)?
