Are you a motivated, passionate and dedicated to the parks and recreation profession? Then we need YOU on our team! We’re seeking nominations for the 2018-2019 CPRS District 9 Board. Serving on the Board is an inspiring and fulfilling experience, offering an opportunity to give back to your profession and network with your peers.

This year, due to the upcoming bylaw changes, we are electing four positions with the following terms:

• President Elect will serve a 2 year commitment, this year as President Elect and next year as President.
• Vice President will serve a 3 year commitment, this year as the Vice President, next year as the President Elect and the following year as President.
• Treasurer will serve a 2 year commitment and is responsible for the annual financial statement that is sent to CPRS, monthly financial reports to the board, reconciling bank statements and managing expenditures per Board policy.
• Secretary will serve a 1 year commitment and is responsible for official meeting minutes, maintaining minute files and board rosters as well as communicating information from the district and state to the D9 membership via email and social media.

After the Board has been selected, Section Representatives will be appointed by the Board.
