Hello District One,
Windsor’s Town Manager’s Office has requested that our department evaluate our part-time staff payrates, job titles, and salary schedules. We are in dire need of any information you could share from your department on the following types of part-time staff:
Recreation Leaders, Aquatics staff / Lifeguards, Facility Attendants or staff who do program set-up, Pre-School Teachers or Specialty Class Teachers, or Specialists (not full time).
We are hoping you could share:
- Job descriptions for each class of PTS employee (e.g. Rec 1, Rec 2, Senior Rec, etc.)
- Pay-rates for each class of employee or a PTS salary schedule
- What process you use for evaluating part time staff and administering raises
Anything that you can share would be very helpful. Our department is frozen from giving any part-time staff pay increases until we have a solid procedure to present to the Town Manager’s Office.
