Jenni,
We have a 3-Acre Dog Park located in Yorba Park that is overall 8.5 acres. The dog park is divided for small and large dog areas with the small dog area being much smaller in size to the large dog area. I would not recommend a dog park smaller than 3 acres. The larger it is, the easier it is to maintain as the impact from the dogs is displaced. The parking lot has 63 spaces and is near capacity at times on the weekends. The busy times are mornings and early evenings. The overall park is not adversely impacted as it is not a heavily used passive park otherwise.
Hope this helps.

Happy Monday!
For those of you have a dog park...we are in search of some quick information, so if you can, PLEASE help us out!
1. How big is your dog park? Do you recommend a minimum size?
2. Is it a stand-alone park or part of a larger park?
a. if stand alone, is there dedicated parking and how big (size or # spaces)?
3. If part of a larger park, what is the impact to the park?
4.. What are the busiest times at the dog park?
Thank you so much, we appreciate your time!
Sincerely,
Jenni Worsham
