Live Meetings and Webinars: Upcoming Events

CPRS and our partners across the state (and across the country!) are pleased to offer live training on a wide range of subjects with relevance to Park and Recreation professionals. Some sessions offer CEU credit where available. Be sure to check back often!

CPRS Book Club: How To Be An Antiracist - Ibram X. Kendi
Wednesday, July 15, 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM

"In How to Be an Antiracist, Kendi takes readers through a widening circle of antiracist ideas—from the most basic concepts to visionary possibilities—that will help readers see all forms of racism clearly, understand their poisonous consequences, and work to oppose them in our systems and in ourselves." - Amazon.com description

The world is at a turning point. Come join us as we listen, learn, and work together to understand our beliefs about and relationships with race, and how they impact the work we do in parks and recreation. This session will be moderated by Dr. Brandon Taylor and Dr. Heather Vilhauer of CSU East Bay.

CPRS Book Club is a live video call using the Zoom platform. Please be sure to purchase the book in your preferred format, and give yourself plenty of time to read and come ready to discuss. Register early, space is limited!

Presentations with Audio

In partnership with CadmiumCD, who host our Conference website and app, we are able to offer some of our conference sessions as slide presentations with audio.

Our presenters have been gracious enough to “narrate” each slide, and participants are able to log in and view the presentations along with the audio. If you need help logging in, please email training@cprs.org

Not all presentations currently have audio. See below for a list, updated as often as possible.
