CPRS-RT Section: Scholarship Opportunity

Great News! We are happy to announce that we will be awarding scholarships to therapeutic recreation / recreation therapy students during the upcoming RT Institute.  All undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Recipients will receive a scholarship to help toward their school expenses.  Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the annual Recreation Therapy Institute Awards Ceremony

Listen up RT Professionals!  CPRS-Recreation Therapy Section is proud to offer a Professional Development Grant program for its members.  Recognizing that employing agencies have limited training and development budgets, this grant program has been developed to offer RT Section members the opportunity to receive financial assistance to continue their professional development.  RT Section has made up to $750 available for grant to be awarded to deserving individuals who have demonstrated a dedication to the recreation therapy profession.  Grant recipients will be recognized at the annual Recreation Therapy Institute Awards Ceremony.

Professional Development Grant

The Scholarship and Professional Development Grant Committee: Dr. Erick Kong, Keelin Jardin, and John Glass will be responsible for the selection process. Come during the award ceremony in March to celebrate these outstanding students and RT professionals.
