CPRS Aquatics Section Kathie Luecker Memorial CAMS Professional Scholarship honors Kathie Luecker who passed away from a long battle with ovarian cancer on January 27, 2015. Kathie was a part owner of Lincoln Aquatics, Inc. and has been a strong partner of the Aquatics Section and the California Aquatic Management School since 2001. Kathie went above and beyond this to assist the Aquatics Section in the advancement of CAMS, and was instrumental in raising additional funds for the scholarship program through her contacts within the aquatic industry with gift cards that could be auctioned off. Without Kathie’s assistance the scholarship program would not have a continued revenue stream to help fund professional development scholarships.
CPRS Aquatics Section is proud to offer the Kathie Luecker Memorial CAMS Professional Scholarship to provide recreation professionals and students the opportunity to participate in California Aquatic Management School taking place October 9-11, 2019 at the Granlibakken Conference Center in Lake Tahoe, CA.
