  • Aquatics Intensive

    Hello Aquatic Professionals!

    We hope you join us on Tuesday, February 28th for our 2017 Aquatics Intensive, Riding the Wave into the Future: Best Practices and New Ideas in Aquatics.  The intensive will be from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the Sacramento Convention Center.  Below you will find all of the registration details!

    Aquatics Social will follow from 6:00pm-10:00pm...More fun details coming soon!!

    Preregistration required due to minimum registration numbers, but On-Site registration will also be available if needed.

    Who Should Attend?

    Aquatic employees, full time, part time and seasonal; managers, supervisors, landscape architects, park and planning staff. 

    Session Description:

    The aquatics intensive will share new and innovative ideas when it comes to best practices in working with user groups and swim teams, training and staff communication, inventive ways of scanning, and new ideas in team building!

     Session Learning Outcomes:

    • Explain management tips related to swim team relationships and how we can work together to inspire growth to foster healthy swimming environments at our facilities
    • Discuss and participate in new team building activities for your staff
    • Explain fresh innovative ways of communicating with your staff
    • Discuss new scanning strategies to bring back to your staff
