We are proud to announce: "The Mini SuperCal: Energizing the SUPER in Supervisor!" event. This event will be a one day mini-intensive on March 8, 2015 from 1pm-5pm in Long Beach, the day before conference kicks off. If you are currently a temp seasonal supervisor, specialist, coordinator, or recreation supervisor, we think you are the ideal candidate to attend this training.
Mini SuperCal is based on SuperCal, a training event that resembles the current retreat/training program put on by the Aquatic Section called CAMS (California Aquatic Management School). In its prime, SuperCal worked to connect recreation professionals through peer-to-peer education sessions, networking, and wouldn't you know it, recreating!
In our efforts to facilitate training and bring together our section, at Mini SuperCal we will:
- Connect individuals in a personal fashion
- Share information from colleagues in our field
- Strengthen the bond within the Recreation Supervisor Section
One of our overarching goals for this event is to foster an environment where you feel confident calling a fellow Recreation Supervisor Section member for advise, information, or insight.
