District 12 Needs You!!!

Please find attached information about serving on the CPRS District 12 board and a Call for Nominations. The following positions are open for the 2019-2020 term:

• Vice President (3 year term; 2019 - 2022)
• (Automatic advancement to President-elect and President)
• Secretary (2 year term; 2019 - 2021)
• Treasurer (2 year term; 2019 - 2021)
• Director of Programs (2 year term; 2019-2021)

Please note, you must be a member of CPRS to be on the CPRS District 12 Board.

CPRS relies on the volunteer commitments of its members to move the profession forward. Serving on the Board is an outstanding way to get to know other professionals, locally and throughout the State. Board service also creates a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge, develop new skills and effectively market yourself for career advancement.

The benefits of becoming active in this professional organization are many. While it is different for everyone, the most common benefits are:

• Becoming more knowledgeable about the recreation profession.
• Making new acquaintances who do the same thing you do.
• Networking – finding out about job openings, grant opportunities, development of projects, and who is doing what in different cities.
