The Park Development and Operations Section is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2017 Board of Directors. We are seeking candidates for the open positions of Vice-President, Treasurer, and Regional Representatives for Regions 1, 3, and 5.
Service on the Board of Directors for the Park Development and Operations (D & O) Section is an opportunity to help drive the decisions of our highly-respected and fast moving professional organization. As leaders, we shape future opportunities for the education and development of park professionals in California. Please join us in this unique opportunity for both personal and professional growth.
The opportunity to work with other leaders in CPRS will put you in contact with professionals on the cutting edge of park planning, design and management trends, and will provide the opportunity to be part of the decision making process at the regional and state level. The Board of Directors drives the D & O Section’s strategic goals and energizes CPRS. This is an exciting time to join the leadership of the Park Development and Operations Section while we map out our ambitious new future.

The Call for Nominations closes on Monday, October 29 and the election begins and concludes in January. New board members take office at the end of the annual conference in March 2019.
