  • CPRS District 13 Secretary

    Hello D13 Members,

    1. Jamie Bumia, CPRS District 13 Secretary stepped down from her position effective June 1, 2019. She was voted into office by membership in 2018 to serve a two year term. She has transitioned to the Public Works team in Monrovia to help with Project Management and thus was unable to fulfill her last year of service in her position. Although we will miss her here on the Board, let’s congratulate her on this new career opportunity. Thank you for your years of dedication to CPRS District 13 Jamie and Congratulations!

This left an open position, which due to the timing an of Jamie’s departure the position may be appointed by the Board. On June 12, 2019 the Board of Directors discussed and voted to appoint the Secretary position, whom will fill in for the position for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season. The position will be up for election for the 2020-2021 season as a two year term.

With recruiting and vetting for potential candidates the Board was approached by a very enthusiastic newcomer to District 13 as to interest in serving as a volunteer or committee member on the board. She has a history of serving on numerous committees and dedicating many volunteer hours during her membership with District 10. Please join in welcoming Jessal Salas, Program Specialist City of South Pasadena as CPRS District 13’s new Secretary!
