District 10 Members,

We are currently looking for District 10 members who want to serve on the District 10 Board of Directors as a Section Representative. To apply you must be a current member of CPRS and a member of the section you want to represent.

A Section Representative duties include:

• Attend the Awards and Installation Banquet on April 4, 2019 in Laguna Woods
• Attend the Board transition meeting in late April 2019
• Monthly Board meeting  on 1st Thursday of each month @ 9 a.m. (Location TBD)
• Board Report on what is happening with the Section statewide
• Planning 1 to 2 small trainings/meetings or events throughout the year
• Supporting other sections or trainings that District 10 puts on.

 Attached is a description of all Board positions to give you an idea of what each position’s responsibilities are.

We are looking for CPRS members who have a passion for recreation and the willingness to contribute to our profession.  If you are interested submit your nomination form by Monday, February 25th through email to heidi.mazas@longbeach.gov.
