Hello District 5 Parks and Recreation Professionals,

We're excited to announce that submissions are now open for the 2026 CPRS District 5 Awards, recognizing excellence in professional achievements, parks and programs throughout our region.

This year's awards categories include:

• Innovative Programming - celebrating groundbreaking ideas that positively impact the community.
• Professional Merit - honoring individuals and organizations making significant contributions to the field.
• Parks Make Life Better - recognizing excellence in the design and development of parks, playgrounds, and facilities.
• Marketing Excellence - showcasing impactful and effective marketing efforts.
• Rising Star - highlighting emerging professionals demonstrating exceptional potential and leadership.

All District 5 agencies and CPRS members are eligible to submit entries and agencies may submit more thatn one entry per category.

Submission Deadline: February 1, 2026

Submission Fee: $25 per entry
