The Aging Section is looking for members to work on the Scholarship and Social Committees.

Scholarship Committee
Each year, the Aging Section awards a scholarship to an undergraduate or graduate student studying recreation, aging or a related field. You could be part of that process! The time commitment does not exceed one hour per week between now and conference, the only exception being the date that you hold phone interview for applicants. Duties include: distributing the application packet to a pre-existing contact list, answering applicant questions, compiling scholarship packets, scheduling interviews and then awarding the scholarship at the Aging Section Social in Long Beach. Conference Social Committee
Join the Aging Section Social Committee and help create a fun and lively networking opportunity for Aging Services professionals at the March 2018 CPRS Conference in Long Beach! This is the perfect time to get involved with little time commitment. The Social Committee is responsible for organizing the Tuesday night Aging Section social including securing an event location, marketing, décor, food, raffle prizes, plus event day setup.
