District 2 would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the organizations that applied for the new Doing Good 2Gether program! We are excited to see the program was well received and that member agencies found value in this new program that allows us to give back in an impactful way within our District. Applications were reviewed by an impartial committee and scored based on how well they met program guidelines, the need for support, and community impact. Congratulations to Southgate Recreation & Park District! Their Sunrise Florin Park Court Linings project application scored the highest. Thanks again to all participating agencies and we hope you apply again during the next program cycle.

Volunteers Needed! Join District 2 for the Doing Good 2Gether Day of Service! Volunteers are needed to help complete this project on Saturday, October 21 from 9AM - 1PM at Sunrise Florin Park in Sacramento. This is a great way to network with fellow District 2 members while giving back to our District! Paint-Friendly clothes and shoes are strongly recommended.
