  • Aging Section at Conference

    The CPRS Conference in Sacramento is just two weeks away! We want to make sure you know how you can connect with the CPRS Aging Section during your conference visit.

    Aging Section Social  
    Tuesday, February 28 - 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    Goldfield Trading Post, 1630 J Street

    Mix, mingle, and network with fellow professionals at the Aging Section Social held at Gold Field Trading Post, located only a short walk from the Hyatt Regency and Sacramento Convention Center. Goldfield Trading Post is a Country Bar & Restaurant featuring exciting live music performances, line dancing, and country band karaoke as well as a delicious menu and well stocked bar with an extensive whiskey and tequila selection!

    There is no cost to attend the social and light appetizers will be provided. For those that like to compete, take part in our Trivia Contest and Guess the Number challenge, prizes awarded.

    Thursday, March 2 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    Stop by the Conference Expo Hall and visit the Aging Section booth where you can find fun games, opportunities to get involved, and giveaways. Here’s a breakdown

    • Drop off your business card to be entered to win a free registration for the next NorCal or SoCal Senior Symposium  
    • Learn how you can get involved with the Aging Section as a Board or Committee member
    • Find out about upcoming events
    • Grab some candy to keep your energy high and a pen for all the session note taking

    Aging Section Board Meeting
    Thursday, March 2 – 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    Hyatt Regency Sacramento, Capitol Board Room

    Join the Aging Section Board for it’s annual in person board meeting on Thursday, March 2 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. In addition to regular business discussion this meeting also includes the installation of the incoming 2017-2018 Board. Attending this meeting is a great way to meet fellow members, learn more about the Aging Section including ways to get involved, and share what’s happening at your Senior Center.
